Open rehearsals for our 2024 spring concert season will begin Monday, January 8th and continue through Monday, January 22nd. Open rehearsals are a great introduction to the chorus and a great way to find out who we are, what we’re about, and what we’ll be singing. Come find out if IRCC is the chorus you’re looking for!
Rehearsals are from 7:30 – 9:30 at Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St. in North Reading (but we’ll be there at 7:00 and encourage you to come a bit earlier, if possible, to say hello, get your music and get settled). We have an exciting concert planned and we’d love YOU to be a part of it! Concert dates are Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th.
Membership is open to all and no audition is necessary. Prior experience in choral singing or four part harmony is a plus but not required. We have a lot of experience helping new singers (and singers who are a bit “rusty”) be successful. Many of our members came to the chorus with no experience and with no ability to read music. While we love to meet singers with prior experience, all it really takes to be successful is a love of singing and a “can do” attitude!
Some of our music selections for the season include “To Everything There is a Season”, “Here Comes the Sun”, “What a Wonderful World” “In my Life” and “Fly Away Home”.
